The international specialized exhibition for printing equipment, technologies, materials and services POLYGRAPHINTER 2009 started up in Moscow at the Crocus Expo exhibition centre. The exhibition period will last from October 28 till November3. Organizers: MVK International Exhibition Company, Interregional Printing and Publishing Association (IAPA).
POLYGRAPHINTER 2009 and the simultaneous events: International Conference and Exhibition on Digital Technologies ON DEMAND RUSSIA-2009, International specialized exhibitions Etiketka/LabelShow 2009 and PAPEXPO / PackCarton 2009 were officially opened on October 28.
The floor for welcome addresses was given to Deputy Head of Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications, V. Grigoriev; Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy I.B. Muslimov; CEO of FSI Rossiyskaya Gazeta Editorial Staff, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation A.N. Gorbenko; Chairman of the Board of Russian Joint Stock Company BUMPROM V.A. Chuiko; Head of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry V.I. Lavrukhin; Chairman of the Subcommittee of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation for Development of the Packaging Industry, Executive Director of the National Confederation of Packagers (NKPaK) A.G. Boyko, Vice-President (Sales&Operations) of InfoTrends David Pesko; President of the Interregional Association of Polygraphists (MAP) B.A. Kuzmin. The opening ceremony was held by Andrei Lapshin, President of MVK International Exhibition Company.
POLYGRAPHINTER 2009drew about 300 exhibitors from 21 countries, the total exhibition area of exposure measured about 28 000 sq.m. Among the exhibitors are constant exhibitors and newcomers, including the foreign companies which have an active interest in the Russian market: HEIDELBERG, KBA, XEROX, YAM INTERNATIONAL, NISSA, VIP SYSTEMS, Animar, VneshMaltiGraf, MT-Invest, Saplaylend, SIKO, Polygraphic Systems, GFS Ltd., Itrako, RIZO, COMLAIN, KOEHLER/Blue Orange, EPSON and many other foreign and domestic financial institutions. For the first time at the "POLYGRAPHINTER-2009" there will be organized the exhibition and conference on digital technology ON DEMAND RUSSIA, involving such world brands as HP, XEROX, KONICA MINOLTA, CANON, OCE, KODAK, GMC, Presstek.
As a part of POLYGRAPHINTER there was preplanned a busy agenda covering specialized conferences, seminars and presentations. The program list includes 21 events. The key event is a two-day long international conference on digital technology ONDEMAND Russia-2009 (October 28 and 29). The Day of Regions (October 29) will bring together the regional representatives of professional associations and unions. On the same day there will be held the PRINTOLOGY international seminar. CANON DAY is planned to be held on October 30. November 2 is declared in the business program as the Day of Design and Career Day.
On October 30 the exhibition business programme will feature the ceremony of awards for the winners of the open competition on printing art MAITRE of PRINTING 2009, laureates and winners of the 5th International Competition for the best label as an effective means of products and goods promotion GrandEtiket-2009 and the All-Russia competition Eco-Pack Russia as well as some other competitions for the exhibitors.
